About Industry Futures

Creating meaningful connections between industry and education

About Industry Futures and Our People

Industry Futures was created to inspire the next generation of engineers, builders, innovators and problem solvers through engaging hands-on learning experiences in schools.

We believe students learn best by designing, building, testing and creating. Our workshops connect classroom learning with real-world industries, helping students explore future pathways while developing practical skills, confidence and curiosity.
Working across primary and secondary schools, Industry Futures delivers interactive workshops linked to engineering, construction, energy, utilities, manufacturing, mining and emerging technologies. Each program is designed to make industry accessible, exciting and relevant for students through meaningful project-based learning.

Through partnerships with industry organisations, schools and communities, we aim to bridge the gap between education and the future workforce by giving students authentic exposure to the industries shaping tomorrow’s world.
Whether students are building a crane, exploring renewable energy, programming robotics or solving engineering challenges, Industry Futures helps bring learning to life through creativity, innovation and hands-on discovery.

Our Founder

Industry Futures was founded by an experienced engineering educator with a passion for hands-on learning, industry engagement and inspiring the next generation of problem solvers.
With a background in engineering and education, our founder has worked extensively across primary and secondary schools delivering practical STEM and engineering programs that make learning engaging, accessible and connected to the real world.
After years of working with students in classrooms, workshops and STEM programs, Industry Futures was created to help bridge the gap between education and industry by giving students meaningful opportunities to explore engineering, construction, energy, manufacturing, technology and future careers through hands-on experiences.
Having delivered educational programs to schools across Australia, our founder understands the importance of creating workshops that are exciting, inclusive and aligned with both classroom learning and future workforce pathways.
Industry Futures was built on the belief that every student should have the opportunity to discover how industries shape the world around them and develop the confidence, creativity and practical skills needed for the future.
Today, Industry Futures continues to work with schools, communities and industry partners to inspire students through practical learning experiences across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia.
